Calling all aspiring filmmakers! Don’t miss the chance to submit your short film for the 2017 Bagri Foundation London Indian Film Festival Satyajit Ray Short Film competition by Friday 3rd March 2017! Be in with the chance to win a £1,000 prize and have your film showcased in a special programme during the Festival! You could be the next Saqib Pandor, who won the award last year for his evocative and striking ‘Mochi’ (‘The Cobbler’).

 

Submit your free entry of a film shot in any standard format (film or digital), of no more than 20 minutes which expresses and informs aspects of the experiences of South Asians (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) either within their own countries or the Diaspora. All submissions must have been completed within two years prior to the closing date. Previous submitted entries are ineligible.
