The Bagri Foundation is delighted to be the title sponsor of London Indian Film Festival (LIFF). The 2015 festival runs in London from 16 – 23 July and expands with screenings in Birmingham from 20 – 26 July. The Festival is firmly established as Europe’s showcase for South Asian cinema.
The films capture the entirety of the human experience: from man’s relationship to the natural world explored in Monsoon; to the question of citizenship in Gour Hari Dastaan: The Freedom File and the beauty and challenges of relationships illustrated in Asha Jaoar Majhe (Labour of Love). The Opening Night film is Umrika starring the talented Suraj Sharma from Life of Pi and the Festival closes with cricket documentary Death of a Gentleman.
