If there is a single theme that unites South Asian Cinema, it is its emphasis on family structures and relationships. In this unique discussion, Sangeeta Datta discusses how the various facets of family life are treated in specific films and explores what they tell us about South Asian society at large.

This talk is part of the Bagri Foundation’s World Cinema Club which aims to promote a deeper appreciation of cinema at meetings that are engaging and informative.
